"What form of identification are accepted at Temptations?"
North Carolina ABC (Alcohol Beverage Commission) allows NC licensed bars & restaurants to accept the following VALID forms of ID: North Carolina Identification card or drivers license, a drivers license from any US State, Military ID or Passport. **Out of state identification cards are NOT acceptable**
"My ID expired AFTER I turned 21. Why can't your bartenders accept it?"
We know it is frustrating, however an expired ID is NO LONGER VALID. You MUST present a VALID form of ID (see above) to be served.
"I'm in Temptations ALL the time. Why do I have to bring my ID with me EVERY time?"
ABC/ALE(Alcohol Law Enforcement) require that you have your ID on you at all times while in a licensed establishment. Just because WE know you, when they grace us with their presence, they do not.
"What happens when I leave my credit card & have forgotten to pay?"
When you open a tab at Temptations, a valid credit card is required to keep it open. YES, we hold the card. If you forget to close your tab before you go, the bartenders with close out the tab on your credit card & charge a 20% gratuity that evening. You can pick up your card & receipt during normal business hours (listed above) the following day. ***Your cc will be destroyed after 10 days should you not pick it up for your protection***
"I think I may have had too much to drink. What do I do?"
We try to ensure that each and every guest has a great and memorable time here with us, on any occasion. If at any point you feel that perhaps driving is not such a great option, any one of our staff is more than happy to call a taxi service to make sure you return home safely. There is a parking garage on the same block as Temptations, and they charge a very reasonable fee for parking your vehicle overnight (usually between $5-10.00 depending on the night, MUCH more reasonable than a DUI or worse). ***Please Note*** 1 drink/beer/glass of wine takes between 1-1.5 hours to fully metabolize within your system. Generally, 2 12 oz beers will put your system over the legal blood alcohol level of 0.08 (the legal limit for driving in NC) Remember, your life is far more important than a taxi ride home. We take our responsibility with your safety very seriously, and appreciate your understanding when we are looking out FOR YOU. We are all here to have a great time, lets keep it that way, and keep it safe.
