Temptations opened in October of 2004 as a Martini  & Dessert Bar and Café.  Since then we have undergone  many changes and developments.
>  In 2006 we converted our basement into a dance club and thus the Red Room was born.  Featuring the best local DJs, the Red Room has quickly become a staple in Asheville’s nightlife scene. 
>  In 2007 we added a stage to the upstairs, and began hosting live music events featuring the best in local musicians and national acts. 
>  In 2008 we grew each night to being one of the only venues downtown where there is Always something happening.
>  In 2009...who knows whats next?  We are always working on new promotions for new events.  Have any ideas? Send them our way!

With all of the changes that we have undergone, we still are a genuine, locals bar, with a tight knit group of regulars who are more like family to us.  Temptations is a melting pot for people from all walks of life, from artists and musicians, to doctors and lawyers.  You will find college students, and parents, young professionals, and retirees, all in the same room.  We are truly an Asheville bar, where “old age, meets new age.”
